於日本東京及網上舉行的SIGGRAPH ASIA 2021 今朝已經開始了 , 現正進行MacLean Visual Effects 及 Skydance 講解科幻影集《Foundation》(AppleTV+) 製作
, 接著有 DNEG 講解《Dune》VFX (10pm) , 今日其他關注主題有 Two Lectures for Retrospective Technologies in Game Industry – TAITO and SQUARE ENIX (12pm), Metaverses and the Future of Work(3pm).. Metaverse and VR (4pm)

Epic Game 發布這個技術示範《The Matrix Awakens: An Unreal Engine 5 Experience 》, 由包括 Warner Bros , The Coalition 及 WetaFX 等製作單共同泡製 . 主要使用Unreal Engine 5 為遊戲引擘 , 還有自家的 MetaHuman, Chaos physics 系統. Nanite 及 Lumen renderer , 也用到 SideFX 的 Houdini 生成城市環境等等

Autodesk Maya & 3ds Max 2022.3 Update

Autodesk Maya 及 3ds max 2022.3更新, 提供 Arnold 7.0.0.0 , 多項改善包括Intel’s Open Image Denoiser, imager_tonemap 加入 LUT模式, 新的imager 操控brightness 及 color curves等 .
Maya 方面 – GPU 支援 Jiggle deformer , Cached Playback更順暢 , 加入Morph Tangential Damping , Retarget Morph 模式及Morph Mirror 選項等
幾個 plug-in 更新 , Substance 2.2.1,使用 Substance Engine 8.3.0, Bifrost 2.3.1.0 plug-in, USD 0.13.0 plug-in 等等
MAX 方面 – 再加強Smart Extrude修完清理效能 , 改善工序的整合能使用家更有系統配置不同項目的工作 , Viewport加設Per-Viewport Filtering , 加入Advanced Wood Open Shading Language (OSL) 等等
