WetaFX 為 Michael Gracey 執導的《Better Man》(原始巨星) 製作CG角色外, 剛分享當中特效模擬影片 , 其中一場有 85,000個CG口香糖淹沒街道, 還有一場汽車行駛混合了水、空氣和血液的模擬 .

ILM 再發放Ridley Scott經典電影續作《 Gladiator II 》(帝國驕雄II) 中重製古羅馬競技場環境製作部份 , 縱然ILM失落入圍奧斯卡最佳視覺提名 , 但他們仍獲得 BAFTA 最佳特殊視覺效果獎提名，以及 VES 提名Outstanding Environment in a Photoreal Feature (Rome) 及 Outstanding Model in a Photoreal or Animated Project (The Colosseum)
