DreamWorks 動畫製作室在上年SIGGRAPH公布將其自家 Monte Carlo 算式 的Path Tracer Renderer – MoonRay開放, 日前正式首次開放下載, 支援 Distributed Rendering , XPU Mode , 支援Deep Images / Cryptomatte 輸出, 付設 Hydra Render Delegate, 支持 Hydra 的 DCC 工具兼容, 開源軟件為Apache License (Version 2.0) , 現可透過Docker container安裝或直接在 Linux Centos 7上構建.

Stability.ai 編寫使用 Stable Diffusion 的AI生成圖片放入開源3D軟件 Blender內成外卦 , 免費使用 , 可以用作圖片轉換圖質或用3D場景生成圖片 , 甚至可以生成AI類型的動畫 , 留意是Gen AI圖是需要向DreamStudio購買Credit
Blender Release Cycle Update
開源3D軟件 Blender 發布更新週期改變 , 自廣為人知的Blender 2.8版本以來 , 發布週期正式設為每年 4 個版本, 其中一個版本提供長期支持 的 Blender LTS .
早前Blender BLOG 發布有關改變, 到年尾推出的4.X版後將會從每年四次更新減到三次, 以減輕開發人員和 TD 的壓力. 以及留出更多時間為每個版本添加新功能.
– Blender 3.5 繼續保持不變 , 預計在 3 月底發布
– Blender 3.6 遵循舊的時間表, 成為 LTS. 將於 7 月發布, 支持到 2025 年 7 月
– Blender 3.7 會跳過。
– Blender 4.0 遵循新的時間表, 並增加了兩週的 Bcon1開發時間 以允許進行更大的更改, 預計將於 11 月下旬發布
