Sony 在 CES 2022 期間發布PlayStation VR2的正名及正式規格 , 頭罩名為 PlayStation VR2, 及手控名為 PlayStation VR2 Sense controller. . 頭罩配合PS5使用 , OLED 4K (每一鏡有 2000 x 2040 ) , 以頭罩及手控的 inside-out tracking , 而內建攝影鏡頭處理eye tracking部份 . 較特別的是今次頭罩都有Vibration震動效果 . 官方同時公布由Guerrilla 及 Firesprite Games製作的專屬VR作品《Horizon Call of the Mountain》, 打著Horizon zero dawn系列的VR作品, 叫人期待. 不過新產品及遊戲皆未有價錢及日期透露
