美國電影藝術科學院(奧斯卡)公布今年 21 個科學及技術獎得主

著名音響工程師及Dolby實驗室主管-David W. Gray 得到 “Gordon E. Sawyer Award” ; 開發digital micromirror技術並應用於DLP劇院投影的 Dr. Larry Hornbeck 得到“Academy Award of Merit “ . 另外 , Steven Tiffen, Jeff Cohen 及Michael Fecik(Tiffen) 以開發減低IR影響的濾鏡而得到“Academy Award of Commendation”

— [技術成就獎] 包括以下的技術開發者 : OpenVDB , MOVA system , ILM Shape Sculpting System , ILM PhysBAM Destruction System., ESC 的 Universal Capture system , Weta Digital的Barbershop hair grooming system , SpeedTree Cinema , DreamWorks Animation 的 Foliage System.
