Hong Kong 1st Animation Start-ups Support Program Showcase
由香港數碼娛樂協會主辦並獲香港特區政府創意香港「創意智優計劃」撥款資助下的
「第一屆初創動畫企業支援計劃」首映禮
昨日假 香港藝術中心agnes b.電影院舉行, 場面熱鬧 , 不少動畫製作人都來撐場 !!
所有短片將安排在電視台及其他平台上播放

今次荷里活視覺特效工作者的抗議事件( VFX Protest ) 引發源於反對外國政府補貼VFX製作 , 引至的工作外判及拉低價格, 當中亦有大型製作公司破產或部份關門(DD, R&H ,Pixomondo ) ,從遊行者的標語中亦見有反對工時過長等問題..
其實以香港視覺特效工作者來說 ,也面對相同問題, 工作不被重視,工時超長, 人工偏低 , 近年同樣因為週邊地區及國家的政府補貼而有工作被搶 , CG或動畫公司常有倒閉..
香港政府是不會補貼這個行業 , 所以只有自求多福 , 在其他地區有充足彈藥的情況下競爭….
現在FB上的VFX工作者也變了綠地..大家也來做個最基本的表態吧~~

What I was trying to say up there is that it’s at a time when visual effects movies are dominating the box office, that visual effects companies are struggling. And I wanted to point out that we aren’t technicians. Visual effects is not just a commodity that’s being done by people pushing buttons. We’re artists, and if we don’t find a way to fix the business model, we start to loses the artistry. If anything, LIFE OF PI shows that we’re artists and not just technicians.
VFX protest at Oscars
一群荷里活電影特效工作者, 因有感行業得不到應有的回報(亦以R&H破產事件而引發) 在「奧斯卡」舉行之前召集特效工作者到奧斯卡舉行場地進行抗議 , 就連Digital Domain創辦人兼前CEO -Scott Ross都在網上聲援 !!
就網上社交網站所見 有近500人參與 !!!

第六屆香港流動影片製作比賽頒獎典禮 – 昨日已舉行完畢, 部份得獎名單如下 :
– 榮譽大獎 及 佳紀錄片 金獎: 「勞師來施」(梁浩倫)
– 最佳微電影金獎 及 最佳校園 (大專組) 創作獎: 「活該」(陳俊華)
– 最佳動畫 金獎 及 最受歡迎流動影片:「 搭棚工人」(賴欣妍, 何振宇)
