20 scientific and technical achievements, involving 11 distinct investigations, have been selected for further consideration for 2015 Academy Awards.

美國電影藝術與科學學院 (奧斯卡) 公布”科技成果獎”已選定11項入圍項目 , 包括 MARI (The Foundry) CityEngine (Esri R&D Center Zurich) 及 FACETS – Directable Facial Motion Capture (Weta Digital) ” 科技成果獎”仍在接受提名 , 明年2月正式公布得獎名單!

New for SIGGRAPH 2015 – VR Village

SIGGRAPH 2015 正在LA舉行 , 今年VR 仍是大熱話題 , 更加入VR Village環節 .
今年paper也有不少新技術值得留意 , 包括Stanford及Nvidia研發的VR light field技術 , Sampling Based Scene-Space Video Processing , 還有香港大學的An L1 Image Transform for Edge-Preserving Smoothing and Scene-Level Intrinsic Decomposition 及Flow Aligned Surfacing of Curve Networks 等等
