Kickstarter 早前發表2024年年度創意報告下載 ,Kickstarter稱去年是破紀錄的一年- 報告回顧了2024年內成功上線的35,512個項目, 總計獲得超過7.06億美元的認捐資金. 報告還探討這些數據背後的創意發展、獨立資金演變及未來趨勢。
當中重點內容包括：Theatre category資金激增61% ; 桌上遊戲與Video Games創下新高 , 桌上遊戲成功率達80% ,Video Games成功項目數量為15年來最多 ;出版類因TikTok效應快速成長尤其是豪華版書籍; 報告還揭示了最受關注的搜索詞彙、首次創作者最多的類別及百萬美元級項目
TransPerfect Acquires Technicolor Games
【TransPerfect 收購Technicolor Games】
上星期報導過百年後期老店Technicolor面臨經濟危機其下公司已正在裁員及倒閉 , 而其下的遊戲製作公司Technicolor Games , 日前已由TransPerfect公司收購 , 官方新聞發布中表示Technicolor Games將成為TransPerfect Gaming 其下 , 當中包括來自London, San Francisco, Montreal,及 Bangalore 的400多名員工 . 這是繼早前The Mill美國的前員工已跟 Dream Machine FX 組成其下新公司 – Arc Creative 後 , 部份受影響員工的新安排…
近日的確不少外國製作公司倒閉 . 包括曾製作《小王子》電影,在Montreal 的 ON Animation Studios .
還有Warner bros.關閉三間遊戲製作部, 包括Warner bros. San Diego , Monolith Productions 以及Player First Games…
