香港時間上週五 “泥膠動畫之父” Will Vinton 離開人世 ,享年70歲 。 早在1975年已憑《Closed Mondays》得到最佳奧斯卡動畫短片 , 一生作品及得獎無數 , 成立”Will Vinton Studios” 由泥膠玩到有CG部門 , 後來加入了新投資者 , 卻變成了 Laika的出現 ….~~ 願大師安息 RIP

Autodesk 資助的CG比賽網站 The Rookies -發布 2018年度 全球最佳創意媒體及娛樂界別的學府 . 以來自全球87個地區及 580 間學府的學生參加他的比賽以為評分 , 分為Animation / Digital Illustration /3D Motion Graphics / Game Development 以及 Visual Effects 類別 . 是否準確就不得而知 , 不過都可作參考 ~
美國的 Gnomon 則在 Animation 及 Visual Effects 上排名第一 ; SCAD 3D 是 Motion Graphics的首名 , Digital Illustration 是以澳洲 的 Flinders University 為首 ;比利時 的 Howest University則是 Game Development的首名.
