第十七屆 ifva 比賽日前假香港藝術中心 agnes b.電影院舉行過頒獎典禮 , 部份得獎名單公佈如下
公開組
– 金獎 ：《1+1》by 賴恩慈 / 《不知者》by 吳浩然
– 銀獎 ：《打錯》by 卓韻芝
青少年組
– 金獎：《意外 》by 司徒穎賢、鄭智康、 李悅瀚
– 銀獎：《溝通熊仔》by 謝卓鋒、潘樂韻
動畫組
– 金獎：《Within Within》by 廖心愉
– 銀獎：《GALAMAN 》by 劉冠瑤
互動媒體組
– 金獎：《不保留：卡拉 ok 合唱團》 by黃宇軒、林志輝
– 銀獎：《Jsut Code》by 孫詠怡、Helen PRITCHARD
亞洲新力量組
– 金獎：《Land of the Heroes》by Sahim OMAR KALIFA
– 銀獎：《所有的行流出來》by 林育榮
「公開組」「青少年組」「動畫組」及「亞洲新力量組」的得獎短片將於3 月 24 日(六)下午 2 時及 5 時在香港藝術中心 agnes b. 電影院放映。「互動媒體組」作品展期由今日至 3 月 28 日於香港藝術中心五樓包氏畫廊展出
ifva – redefine as ” Incubator for Film and Visual media in Asia” (formerly the Hong Kong Independent Short Film and Video Awards).
由香港藝術中心主辦，康樂及文化事務署贊助的「第十七屆ifva節」將於
3月13 至 28日舉行
ifva更藉此機會強化定位 – 正式改名為 Incubator for Film and Visual media in Asia（前名「香港獨立短片及錄像比賽」）繼續積極扶植香港及亞洲獨立影像創作人，擔任全民影像創作推手!!

美國 The Visual Effects Society公布第十屆VES Awards , 當中《Rise of the Planet of the Apes》贏得最佳視覺特效主導電影 , 《Hugo》得最佳附助視覺特效 , 《RANGO》得最佳視覺特的動畫電影 , 及《Captain America: The First Avenger 》得最佳合成電影
